Espanyols Finnan Surprise

Espanyol have said they are very surprised to learn Steve Finnan failed a Hull medical. Finnan Failed the medical as it showed he had a thigh problem. Personal terms had not been agreed prior to the medical. "Formally, we do not know about the report about an injury to his thigh, but for us the player is good physically," Espanyol's chief of medical staff Ignacio Sitges told the Spanish media.

"If that were not true, then logically Finnan would not have travelled to England for the medical tests.

"The footballer is in the perfect condition to play. We are surprised by this subject."

it was a strange one thats for sure.could of done with him yesterday.
