With the Pressure building on himself and his players Phil Brown believes Hull's game with Fulham on Wednesday night could be a new start new start for his side. Brown thinks that starting against Fulham it could be the start of an 11-game mini-season with Premiership survival the ultimate goal.
"This is the start of the season for us - an 11-game season," said Brown.
"With that in mind, there will be a certain points tally that is
required. That is certainly a lot less than 29 (the current total), so
we're doing okay at this moment in time.
"We're three points ahead of what everybody predicted at the start of the season was going to be our divine right to be in the bottom three.
"We've not been in the bottom three yet. Okay, things are getting tight below us. There are three teams on 28 points and three on 26.
"People are writing West Brom off already, but not for me. There are still ten or eleven teams involved in a relegation scrap until the end of the season.
"It's about holding your nerve and looking forward to the games as opposed to dreading them."
