Phil Brown was reasonably happy to take a point from the Game at the KC against Portsmouth. Hull dominated much of the game against the fellow struggler's. "I suppose in the end you take a point against the quality of the opposition," Brown told Sky Sports News.
"Defensively we were quite solid, we looked quite solid and I think the formation worked," he added. "Apart from them hitting the post they've not really worked our goalkeeper today. "Credit to the two centre halves, they defended against an England international (Peter Crouch) and kept him to a minimum." "It's another point, it gets us further away from the relegation zone," Brown concluded. "The bottom line is we've got a point and bottom three haven't."
