According to reports in this mornings News of the World Hull manager Phil Brown is looking to raid Manchester City for out of Favour Duo Darius Vassell and Tal Ben Haim. Brown is hoping to land the pair for £4 million in a bid to bring in more experience to his squad should the Tigers Survive the drop.
Striker Vassell started his career with Aston Villa making over 150 appearances before joining Manchester City for £2 million in July 2005. He has made over 100 appearances for City scoring only 17 times and with only 32 goals for Villa Vassell has hardly been prolific . He also has 22 England caps scoring 6 times.
Defender Ben Haim joined Bolton from Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2004 he was a rock at the back for Bolton in his 3 year stay at the Reebok which promted Chelsea to sign the Defender on a free transfer in 2007. He spent 1 season at Chelsea only making 13 appearances due to the strong centre back pairing of John Terry and Carvalho. He joined Manchester City for £5 million but he has failed to impress and has been loaned out to Sunderland.
Both would bring Premiership Expreience to The Tigers but would they bring the quailty needed?
