Myhill Confident Of Avoiding The Drop

Goalkeeper Boaz Myhill is confident Hull can pick up enough points to keep them from finishing the season in the bottom 3. Myhill has not played in the league since January after losing his place to Matt Duke also believes The Tigers will bounce back from the defeat against Middlesbrough last weekend.

"We're a confident bunch," said Myhill.

"We've had a fair few knocks this season but we've bounced back. It's up to us to pick up those final few points to get us over the finish line.

"At this stage of the season, a win against anybody would be great. We were disappointed to lose at Middlesbrough because we went there with the intention of taking three points.

"We've got another chance to do that at Sunderland and hopefully we will do better than we did last week.

"The training ground is still a lively place. People might expect it to have been a dull and dismal place recently, but it isn't.

"Everybody is chirpy and it's up to us to make sure that is the case on Saturday."
