Brown Words Inspired Black Cats Win

Sunderland boss Ricky Sbragia has revealed how Browns Blasting of his team inspired his side to the 1-0 Victory over The Tigers. Brown commented saying "Sunderland are in a predicament that they won't have been expecting having spent the money that they did.With the change in manager, Ricky (Sbragia) came in as caretaker and had a very good spell. But it hasn't kicked on from there."

"Their plight is as rocky as anyone's. Would I lose any sleep about beating Sunderland because I watched them as a lad? None at all.

"I support Hull City now because Hull City support me. Our chairman Paul Duffen pays my wages and that's where my allegiances lie."

Sbragia Hit back at Brown following his sides victory

"(There was) a couple of comments in the papers today regarding what we've bought but I though they came up with the goods," Sbragia told Sky Sports.

"I thought Kenwyne was excellent and Anton was absolutely fantastic.

"I don't think the manager should criticise the players another club buys and that's why we didn't need any motivation, that was enough for us today.

"We stuck the headlines on the wall and we got a response."
