Defender Michael Turner has hinted he could leave Hull if the club fail to avoid relegation. Hull are three points above the relegation zone and take on Villa on Monday night looking to move 6 points clear a defeat against Villa could however leave the club still in trouble with only 3 games remaining.

“If I want to be talked about in connection with England in the future, then I have to be playing in The Premier League,” Turner said in the News of the World.

“To be in the England squad you have to be a Premier League player.

“The interest from Fabio Capello has given me a massive confidence boost. It was a surprise and a very pleasant one.

“I hope it will continue because I’m very ambitious to play for my country.”
