Ricketts Bid Accepted

Hull have accepted an offer for defender Sam Ricketts. The offer is believed to have come from Bolton . The offer is though to be around £2 million for the player who has one year left on his contract. Swansea are set to get an undisclosed fee as part of a sell on clause.

Phil Brown confirmed the bid to BBC Radio Humberside but would not say which club made the offer.

"We've accepted an offer from a Premier League club and it gets up to our evaluation of Sam who's in the last year of his contract," he said.

"We've allowed Sam to go and talk to this club."
