Ricketts Makes Bolton Move

Sam Ricketts has left Hull City and Joined Bolton for an Undisclosed fee believed to be around £2 million Ricketts joined Hull in July 2006 in a £300,000 move from Swansea, Swansea are believed to have a sell on clause so are expecting a windfall .

Ricketts had been subject of much speculation in recent days and signed a 3 year deal with Bolton on Friday night. Phil Brown Failure to offer Ricketts a new contract is believed to have lead to him been sold as he only had a year left on his contract.

He made 129 appearances during his time with Hull and scoring one goal. He was a key member of the squad that won promotion to the Premier League in 2008 and helped the Tigers maintain their top flight status last season.
