Hull have admitted defeat in trying to sign Bobby Zamora . Hull did agree a £5 million fee with Fulham for the striker after failing to land other Targets. Although he was offered £40,000 a week he wanted to stay a Craven Cottage. The Move Dragged on for Weeks and the more it went on the more unlikely it was that Hull would land their man.

Chairman has confirmed the club are now moving on to other potential signings after failing to agree a deal with Zamora.

"Fulham have advised us that he is no longer available," Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail.

"It's not disappointing, it's just a fact that we've got many, many targets.

"We've moved on and we're still confident of signing the strikers that will improve us.

"It's never disappointing to lose out on someone who doesn't show any passion for a move."
