Sunderland make Turner Enquiry

Sunderland Manager has made an enquiry about Hull defender Michael Turner. Interest in Turner has mounted over the summer after an impressive first season in the premiership last season. Liverpool, Everton and Aston Villa have been linked with reports claiming bids of £9 million have been made.

Steve Bruce is now reported to offer £6 million for Turner Who only recently signed a new contract with the club and Hull boss has warned he wont be going cheap.

He said: "It is difficult to talk about individual players. We have registered an interest in the boy [Turner], but that's as far as it's gone as I am aware at the moment."
