  In the Leisure Leagues Wednesday 6 a side league held at Shafton ALC/Outwood Academy defending champions Grimey started the new season in style with an 8 – 1 victory over D.S with Sam the man of the match for Grimey.  

Last year’s runners up Bayern Bru suffered a shock 1 – 0 defeat to Titans with Titans goalkeeper Ian Evans receiving the man of the match award and Arron Ogden scoring the only goal of the game.

 

Pre-season favourites Man Like Stormzy began the season with an emphatic 5 – 0 win over Complain FC with Complain goalkeeper Warren Hurd awarded the man of the match.

 

And in the match of the evening Colonel Getafe beat Thurnscoe 5 – 3 in an end to end match with Ryan Gregory the man of the match for Thurnscoe.
