Josh Earl joins Blackpool

Defender Josh Earl has joined Blackpool for an undisclosed fee.

The left-sided defender joined in January 2024 from Fleetwood Town and went on to make 86 appearances for the Reds.

Operating at either centre-back or left-back the 27-year-old had solid performances throughout his time at Oakwell which would be either side of a costly error.

He is expected to be replaced with Blackburn loanee Connor O’Riordan.
