N'Guessan turns down new Imps deal

Lincoln forward Dany N'Guessan has turned down Lincoln's offer to extend his contract beyond the summer, fuelling speculation he has his eyes set on a move to Milton Keynes. The Dons had two bids for the Frenchman turned down in January.
N'Guessan, along with defender Lee Beevers, has been made a second offer by Lincoln manager Peter Jackson. If they fail to reach an agreement, N'Guessan could move to the Dons this summer upon the expiry of his contract, although the Dons would have to pay compensation as the player is under 23 years of age.
N'Guessan is a quick, strong player comfortable on either flank or up front. He graduated from the renowned AJ Auxerre academy in France and was chased by clubs such as Valencia, Marseille and Manchester City before signing for Rangers. After failing to break into the Glasgow giants' first team Dany was loaned out to Boston United before joining Lincoln in January 2007.
Earlier this month Jackson announced that the club had turned down two "really good" offers from the Dons in January.
