All the weeks news wrapped up....

Ex-assistant manager Steve Thompson has become manager of Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division side Truro City. After leaving Yeovil Thompson has had several short managerial spells at various clubs but we now wish him the best of luck at Truro. 

In other news Terry Skiverton revealed in the Western Gazette that if Yeovil had been promoted to the Coca Cola Championship in May 2007 after the Play-off final it may have been the end of Yeovil financially. Skiverton stated that the club may have tried to sign players to compete at that level and in the process bankrupt the club.

Recently released George O'Callaghan has landed a trial at league One rivals Brighton and Hove Albion. Gus Poyet has offered him a trial at the Seagulls.

After recent poor away performances and the poor defensive efforts at Swindon on Monday, Terry Skiverton has vouched to play a more defensive formation and tactics at Leyton Orient.

And finally Andy Lindegaard has rejected a contract extension and has left Yeovil Town. The fast right back will have been disappointed not to have made more appearances. But we wish Lindy all the best for the future.
