Match Preview: Yeovil Town v. Huddersfield

After an imprssive 2-1 win over Exeter last time the Glovers were at home, they will be looking to add to their impressive home form with a win over high-scoring Huddersfield.

Yeovil have played twice in the last week, both games finishing with the same score line. 2-1. Yeovil beat Exeter at home before suffering the same score line away at Tranmere. With a late Ryan Mason penalty being the only consolation.

Despite Huddersfield's blistering start to the season, they have only won three times in the last eight games.

As seems tradition now, an ex-Yeovil player returns to Huish Park on Saturday, with fan favourite Lee Peltier returning for the Terriers.

Yeovil are likely to play new loan signing Owain Tudor-Jones who has joined on a 1 month loan deal from Norwich. Yeovil were also set to play Aaron Davies, however his transfer now seems in doubt as FIFA regulation means a player cannot play for more than two clubs in a season, with the Welshman playing for Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove. Thus far, it is unclear whether Aaron and the club will talk to FIFA.

New Huddersfield signings Nathan Eccleston and Dean Heffernan are likely to go straight into the squad, with Eccleston being a striker and Heffernan an Australian International defender.

Gavin Tomlin remains a doubt with a continuation of his injury and Terry Skiverton will have to make a hard decision involving his loan players. FA rules mean only 5 on-loan players can be in a match day squad meaning one of Alex McCarthy, Steven Caulker, Shaun MacDonald, Ryan Mason, Owain Tudor-Jones or Jon Obika will have to be dropped.

The game promises goals as Huish Park has seen more goals than 19 other clubs and Huddersfield are'nt short of fire power.
