Yeovil linked with big name

Yeovil Town have been linked with the possible signing of former Swansea City and Bristol City player Lee Trundle.

Trundle finished last season with Swansea, but failed to make an impact and consequently was only offered a coaching position.

The prolific striker still feels he has more football to offer, and wants to continue to play.

Also linked with the front man are League One rivals Charlton Athletic and Swindon Town, teams both pushing for promotion.

With Trundle wanting to stay in the Coca Cola Championship, he may feel his best bet is to join one of the promotion chasers.

However, watch this space, as Terry Skiverton tweeted last night "Something dropped right out the blue. Could be great signing",adding to the value of the rumour.
