Yeovil Town have learnt that ex-Swansea striker Lee Trundle has turned down a move to Yeovil, in favour of a move to Neath.
Welsh Premier division side have surprisingly won the signing of Trundle, who a few weeks ago was reluctant to leave the Coca Championship, let alone all of English football.
Trundle now becomes the highest paid player in the Welsh Premier League on a ekl wage of 2,500.
It has emerged that Trundle preferred Neath to other options (including the Glovers) because it allows him to still leave in Swansea.
