weekend of pondering

Terry Skiverton has revealed he will decide on trialist Adam Virgo over the weekend, after the centre back joined on trial some weeks ago.

Skivo will have used Darren Way's benefit Match as a final decision maker on Virgo, but Skiverton admits he 'likes the look of him'.

Speaking to BBC Somerset, Terry spoke of how Virgo has impressed so far:

 

On the topic of trialists, Yeovil fielder several yesterday against Manchester United, fielding goalkeeper John Sullivan and midfielders Sean McAllister and Billy Gibson.

Sullivan finds himself 3rd choice goalkeeper at Millwall, behind David Forde and ex-Glover Steve Mildenhall.

Sean McAllister is a 22 year-old who began his football at Bolton Wanderers, before coming through the ranks at Sheffield Wednesday, he was given the Young Player of the season award in 2005-06 but was released this summer by Wednesday making him a free agent.

Billy Gibson is a winger who can play on either flank, and was released by Watford at the end of last season. The winger has just been on trial with fellow League One side Carlisle United, but they decided against offering him a deal.

Another player who featured was Scott Guyett, but early signs suggest he is just training with the Glovers.
