Yeovil Town lost their final pre-season match to League Two outfit Torquay United.
The Glovers visited Plainmoor boosted by the signings of Adam Virgo, Craig Calver and Cameron Stewart. Who are seemingly the end to Skiverton's summer signings.
During pre-season the Glovers have adopted a rather attacking nature, which was shown in the first half, with notable chances falling to wingers Luke Freeman and Andy Williams, who were both denied by 'keeper Scott Bevan.
Yeovil travelled without Stefan Stam, Andy Welsh and JP Kalala, who all seem to have minor injuries, which Skiverton will want resolved before next Saturday.
Another trend of pre-season has been the vulnerability of the back four, highlighted when a swift Torquay counter-attack left Yeovil exposed, who were punished by Kevin Nicholson. 1-0.
The Glovers lost their way slightly in the second half and struggled to create any meaningful chances, with Danny Hutchins nearly latching on to a Luke Freeman cross in the dying seconds.
Next up for Yeovil Town is the opening npower League One game against Leyton Orient, marking the return of Terrell Forbes and former manager Russell Slade.
