Skiverton Thankful for Slade reign

Terry Skiverton has stated his thanks to Russell Slade for the achievements made during his reign.

Speaking to BBC Somerset, Skiverton spoke of his relationship with Russell Slade: "I get on with Russell, I've spoken to Russell a few times since his appointment and it'll be nice to see him and Forbesy come back. He did a good job for us, he got us to our highest position in League One and I'll always remember him for that." 

In a related story, Russell Slade has spoke of how he bares no hard feelings towards his former club, dispute leaving under a shadow of controversy. Speaking to Guardian Series East London Slade reflected: "Obviously, when you go back to your old club you want to do well and I'm no different from anyone else. The last time I went there, I got a standing ovation. There's no reason for any animosity. It’s a tough game away from home, as they proved last year. They have two experienced centre-halves and they want to play as well. I think Yeovil Town are searching for their best team, like most of us. We’ll see if they make any changes."
