R.I.P Adam Stansfield

it is with our deepest sorrow that we announce that former Yeovil Town player Adam Stansfield has died, after losing his battle with cancer.

The Exeter City player was diagnosed with bowel cancer last season, and had undergone radiotherapy and had began chemotherapy.

The news was broken on Exeter City's official website, stating:

"It is with great sadness that Exeter City Football Club have to confirm the news that Adam Stansfield passed away on Tuesday evening.

Our thoughts are with his wife, family and friends at this time."
