Skivo Condemns Lacklustre Glovers

Terry Skiverton delivered a damning report of his sides performance against Hartlepool United, with the Glovers losing 2-0.

Labelled as 'one of the worst performances', Terry Skiverton admitted he should introduced winger Andy Welsh earlier: 

"We should have given them the three points. We didn't turn up. It was one of the worst performances under me, especially at home. It stands out a mile when we don't play well after the way we have been playing. Hartlepool's formation caused us a lot of problems and I think I should have brought on Andy Welsh in the first half. 

"We looked toothless. I am writing it off as a one-off - that level of commitment. They beat us to the second ball every time. They won headers up front, midfield and at the back. You can't be bullied like that especially at home. and unfortunately it was a pitiful performance." 

In other news, Skiverton hopes to have the futures of loan pair John Sullivan and Rob Kiernan tied up by early next week.

A verbal agreement has said to have been reached with the extension of Kiernan's stay, whilst Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has asked for time to think, but is likely to allow 'keeper Sullivan to stay with the Glovers.
