Caulker Lines Up For Spurs

Last seasons loan star Steven Caulker has played for Tottenham Hotspur in their Carling Cup match against local rivals Arsenal.

In a game where both sides made numerous changed, Steven Caulker lined up in the centre of defence alongside captain for the night Olivier Bassong.

However, the game didn't quite go to plan for either Caulker or Spurs, with the defender giving away a penalty in extra time which Samir Nasri stuck away, effectively ending the contest at 3-1.

In the end Arsenal ran out 4-1 winners at White Hart Lane, in a night where despite being on the receiving end of a mauling, Caulker performed well, apart from the penalty of course.
