Captain Craig!

With Paul Huntington gaining the captain's armband in recent weeks Terry Skiverton has confirmed that Craig Alcock is still the club captain. 

Right back Alcock has missed the last few games through injury, and returned to fitness last week at Walsall but remained on the bench due to Luke Ayling excelling at right back. 

However, Skiverton has confirmed that as soon as Alcock returns to fitness he will be back and challenging to regain at starting position: 

"Craig Alcock is the captain of this football club. He's not been 100 percent fit, but when he is 100 percent fit he will be back in the team. For me, I think there's a little bit of pressure being put on Craig when there doesn't need to be. He hasn't trained today (Thursday) and he hasn't trained as he is still struggling with his back. Once we've got a fit Craig Alcock back, then he'll be back pushing for a place."
