Skivo Hails Freeman Impact

Terry Skiverton has given credited to young duo Luke Freeman and Cameron Stewart but restrained most praise for the Arsenal loanee Freeman. 

Luke Freeman was introduced into Yeovil's game versus Rochdale with the score at 0-0, and soon gave the Glovers the lead and what turned out to be the winning goal just four minutes after coming on.

The arrival of fellow loanees Gavin Williams and Shaun MacDonald meant that Freeman has been restricted to mainly cameo appearances from the bench. 

Speaking to BBC Radio Somerset Skiverton spoke of his praise towards Freeman: 

"He's had a tough time along with Cameron Stewart. They're young boys and they're really hungry. They're from massive clubs in Arsenal and Man United. But with the injury crisis that we've had, and having to bring people in, I've been having to rotate my bench. It was Luke Freeman's turn today, and to be fair he came on and he took his chance well. Before the game, I don't want to take credit for it but I said before the game, when I look at Match of the Day and the Football League Show, substitutes come on and win games. So I told the boys that were not starting the game, to be ready to come on, and to be fair Luke has taken his chance really well."
