Terry Skiverton has hailed "magnificent" Yeovil after they lost 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. 

The Glovers created a number of chances against the Owls but failed to take any of them, with Luke Ayling, Dean Bowditch and Owain Tudur Jones all going close.

Speaking after the game, Skiverton recognised the need to take their chances in games:

"I have got faith in the people I am putting out there but we still need to get that elusive goal, especially against the bigger teams."

Jon Ostemobor received his marching orders late on for a lunge on Nathan Smith, but the Yeovil manager believed they should have been down to ten men long before, when Gavin Williams was the victim of a stamp. 

Speaking of the stamp incident, Skiverton saw it as a major part in the game:

"To me it was the turning point and it was massive, but I am not going to talk about it any more."

Goalscorer Jermaine Johnson joined Yeovil on-loan during the Gary Johnson era but failed to make an appearance due to injury, but Jamaican flyer came back to haunt the Green and Whites scoring a wonder goal.

"It's shocking that he came back to haunt is" uttered the Glover's boss. 

Yeovil will definitely need that 'elusive goal' when they visit the Withdean next weekend, with Brighton flying high and full of confidence after smashing Charlton Athletic 4-0 at the Valley.
