Big Col Gets Perfect Send Off

Ex-Glovers manager and fans favourite Colin Lippiatt has today had his funeral, attended by more than 150 people.

The funeral took place at Easthampstead Crematorium in Wokingham with a celebration of his life taking place at Woking Football Club.

Yeovil were well represented at Col's funeral, with manager Terry Skiverton and ex Woking and Yeovil player Warren Patmore representing the playing side, with media communications manager Adrian Hopper and Jean and Terry Cotton further adding to the Yeovil contingent. 

Lippiatt had his greatest success as a manger at Woking, saving them from relegation when they seemed doomed. His then assistant and now good friend Geoff Chapple paid tribute to Colin, along with Lippiatt's son Robert.

Terry Skiverton paid homage to Lippiatt on Twitter several weeks ago, thanking Lippiatt for saving his career and even his life.

R.I.P Colin Lippiatt, forever remembered.
