Four Out of Five!

Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton has today found out which of his five loan players are available to play in the FA Cup First Round.

And the news is generally good, with four out of the five being given permission to play at Rushden & Diamonds by their parent clubs.

Therefore, Luke Freeman (Arsenal), Shaun MacDonald (Swansea City), Owain Tudur Jones (Norwich) and John Sullivan (Millwall) are all available for Saturday's game at Nene Park. 

However, influential midfielder Gavin Williams has been denied permission to play by his parent club Bristol City. The reasoning behind it is that his loan with the Glovers expires on the 10th of December, before some sides enter the FA Cup at the third round stage.

City manager Keith Millen explains the situation: 

"You have to look at what works for our club and the player. Gavin Williams is on loan until December 10th so if there are other clubs interested in him we don't want him cup tied." 

This concludes that the Robins will be looking to loan Williams out again in January, also appearing to suggest it may not be to Yeovil once more. 

Now that the Welshman cannot play in the FA Cup this Saturday, he only has four more games in the Green and White of Yeovil, unless of course he returns back to Huish Park on loan. His contract expires at Ashton Gate this summer and his future seems likely to lie away from Bristol City, where next for Gavin?
