Yeovil midfielder Jean-Paul Kalala hopes Saturday afternoon's cup clash with Hartlepool United can kick-start the Glovers season.

Speaking of the benefits to both players and fans that a cup run can bring Kalala said:

"It is a great chance for us as a club to get to the next round and we just cannot wait for it, Hartlepool is a long way from Yeovil but it is the way it is and we just get on with it. We have just got to get up there, fight for everything and hope to get to the next round."

"It is an important thing for the club to get to the next round and for us as a team it is a great way to try and bounce back and kick our season off, because it is a winnable game for us."

Kalala has only just regained his usual midfield position after filling in at right back to due to injuries to normal full-backs Craig Alcock and Luke Ayling:

"I have had to play at right back but it has not been a major problem, I have done my best as much as I can. I had to fill in because of injuries but for the team I will play anywhere if I have to. If I have to go as goalkeeper I will do that.It is not about me, it is about getting the results. If we get the results with me playing at right back, then so be it."
