Owain Bids Farewell

Owain Tudur Jones will now return to parent club Norwich City after completing his 93 day loan with the Glovers.

The FA Cup second round match with Hartlepool was meant to be his farewell appearance, but the nationwide snowfall postponed the fixture meaning Owain left without formally saying goodbye to the fans. 

During his three month loan spell the Welshman took part in sixteen games, starting fourteen of which and scoring the once against Huddersfield. 

When totalling this seasons stay with the appearances Jones racked last season Tudur Jones has now played a total of twenty two times for the Glovers, scoring two goals. In fact, the midfielder has played more times for Yeovil than he has parent club Norwich City (3 appearances). 

Speaking to BBC Radio Somerset Jones admits it was disappointing not to say goodbye properly but has enjoyed his stay in Somerset: 

"It's a shame really to be going back after a good run of games. But yes, I've enjoyed every day, coming in. They're a good bunch of lads and the coaching staff are brilliant. Hopefully over the next coming weeks and months, the team can progress and just get the points that are needed to get up the table."
