The latest Home Office statistics have once again shown Yeovil Town fans to be one of the best behaved set of supporters throughout the 2009-10 season. 

The Green and Whites join an exclusive group consisting of just two others clubs which currently do not have any banning orders placed upon them, with League Two sides Stevenage and Accrington Stanley completing the trio. 

One long standing court order placed upon Yeovil was cleared last season, with only one arrest throughout the whole of the 2009-10 season, labelled an 'alcohol-related' incident without any hint of hooliganism. 

Matching this excellent record of arrests in League One sides Dagenham & Redbridge, Hartlepool United, Leyton Orient and Milton Keynes, marking the impressive disciplinary records in the English third tier. 

As a whole, football arrests and incidents are falling season-on-season, on the contrary to what the media sometimes suggest. Long gone are the days of football hooliganism with only the occasional outbreaks of violence marring the generally excellent record of the majority of football clubs.

Congratulations to all you Yeovil fans for setting such an excellent example.
