Quiet Exit for Super Gav

Yeovil Town loanee and fans favourite Gavin Williams has played his last game for Yeovil Town, with Saturday's game with Peterborough United now being postponed denying Williams a chance to end his loan in style. 

Officially Williams returns to Bristol City on December 10th but the only game the Glovers have before them is the FA Cup second round fixture with Hartlepool, something the Welshman was denied permission to play in by the Bristol club.

His last month at the Glovers has been some what disrupted due to weather conditions and cup matches, with just two appearances since November 2nd with one of which coming from the bench. A one match suspension also ruled him out of Yeovil's game at Bournemouth a few weeks ago. 

Throughout his three month loan spell Gavin scored one goal in the 3-3 draw with Swindon Town, in what was generally a subdued version of the Gavin Williams all Yeovil fans know and love, perhaps due to the persistent ankle injury which plagued his loan spell.

His return to Ashton Gate is likely to be short, with his contract up in the summer and the Robins seemingly unwilling to extend it, another loan spell may be on the cards in January, but his destination is unknown.
