Ivan returns to Bristol

On-loan winger Ivan Sproule has returned to parent club Bristol City after an interrupted loan spell at Huish Park.

The Irishman joined Yeovil hoping to gain match fitness ahead of the January transfer window, but was restricted to just two appearances due to the adverse weather conditions.

The weather, coupled with his unavailability to play in Yeovil's FA Cup second round loss to Hartlepool United, meant Sproule played barely any football at all.

Although Ivan has returned to Ashton Gate, his future in Bristol is likely to be short, with Hibernian showing an interest in the winger, who has also stated his desire to play for the Scottish side once more.

We wish Ivan the best of luck in the rest of his career.
