Skiverton Approaches Milestone

Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton is heading towards a double milestone this weekend as his side travel to Tranmere Rovers. 

The game will mark his 100th game in charge of the Glovers and will be his first match since his two year anniversary of taking the job. 

Skivo took charge on February 21st 2009, with his first game coming against Oldham Athletic at Huish Park, a game ending in a 2-2 draw. 

Things have been at both ends of the spectrum for the management of Skiverton and Jones, as they watched Yeovil accumulate their biggest ever league defeat, as they lost 5-0 to Russell Slade's Brighton & Hove Albion, but they also went through a five game period this year without conceding a goal, seeing Skiverton shortlisted for manager of the month. 

So far the Yeovil manager has clocked up 26 wins, 26 draws and 47 defeats, which works out a win ratio of just 26%.

If Skiverton is to match the time he spent on the pitch for the Glovers he will have to be around for a while, as he spent ten seasons playing for the Green and Whites, so far he has managed two seasons in management. 

All milestones will be forgotten by Saturday however, as three points will be the main focus as Yeovil look to drag themselves away from the bottom four.
