Glovers Management Remain On Boat

The Yeovil Town management of Terry Skiverton and Nathan Jones have agreed new contracts with the club which will now see them stay with the club until the summer of 2013.

It broke last week that they were in talks over a new contract, with their current deals running out at the end of this season.

Although safety in League One has yet to be guaranteed, the club's chief executive Martyn Starnes spoke of how "great" and "smashing" the news was, and praised the continuity it brought to the club. 

Speaking of his new deal Skiverton spoke of how there is a long term plan, which involves cutting down on the number of loans they bring in, as the figure currently stands at sixteen just for this season thus far:

"There is a longer term plan in place which includes the recruitment of new players and with this backing from the board, it really helps me get on with my job. Over the next few years, we want to add to players like Paul Huntington, Luke Ayling and Ed Upson and start to build a strong squad so that we won't have to rely on the loan market to such a degree."
