Transfer window signing at last

It would appear we have "snapped" up Inverness keeper Michael Fraser on a pre-contract ahead of next season.

The BBC report we have signed Fraser on a pre-contract agreement in preparation for the departure of Graeme Smith who is out of contract.

It is believed the Fraser has been told he will be number one next season as the club expect Smith to move on when his contract ends.

Fraser was initially number two to Mark Brown at Inverness but claimed the number one slot when the former Motherwell man moved to Celtic. But he has recently been playing second fiddle to Ryan Esson after losing five at Ibrox.

Personally I am a bit concerned that this is the height of our ambition as far as signing targets go. I also hear that we will struggle to get Don Cowie in the summer as he has already been offered more by another (smaller) SPL club!

It'll be interesting to see what else Mark McGhee can pull out of the hat that will please the fans.
