SC Quarter final draw

Scottish Cup

As with the draw for the last round we are an either /or, but if Motherwell get through the St. Mirren replay they will host Celtic in the Quarter Final.

The winner of the replay next Tuesday will face Celtic at home on the weekend of March 7th.

The draw was made this afternoon by Tom Boyd and Willie Haughey and they pulled the balls out to give this draw for the Quarter Final:

Motherwell or St Mirren v Celtic
Airdrie United or Dunfermline Athletic v Aberdeen or East Fife
Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Falkirk
Forfar Athletic or Rangers v Hamilton Academical

The last time we met Celtic in the Scottish Cup was back in 1994 in a third round tie at Fir Park that was won by a single, late Tommy Coyne strike.

Celtic have struggled at home to see off Dundee and Queen's Park in the previous two rounds an won't fancy a trip to Fir Park to play on our dreadful pitch!
