Brian McLean made a return from injury this week in the reserves while the club announce another new kit deal.
Defender Brian McLean has finally seen some match action this season playing for the reserves against Kilmarnock in a 0-1 defeat at Bathgate yesterday.
He played for 81 minutes before being replaced, this comes at a good time for boss Mark McGhee as Paul Quinn starts his two game suspension this week and McLean will give him some extra cover in defence.
It was a strong reserve side that fell to a Saunders og scored in 43 minutes, with Birmingham loan pai Krysiak and Aydelik getting their first run out in the claret and amber.
Krysiak, Saunders, Wilson, Page, McLean (D.Quinn – 81mins), Lasley, D.Smith, Malcolm, Murphy, McGarry, Aydilek
The club have also announced today a new strip manufacturing deal with Canterbury which will start next season and run for four years.
While it is great the club are coming up with another initiative that should bring in much needed new revenue it does seem a bit harsh that we will be having our third new strip in as many seasons, despite a commitment to having only a change in the home strip every two years!
