Motherwell turned in another live TV horror show in drawing with Kilmarnock yesterday at Rugby Park.

For not the first time this season Motherwell appeared to "choke" in a big game that was featured on live TV. This history this season has seen us lose to Nancy in the UEFA Cup, Hamilton in the SPL and St. Mirren in the Scottish Cup when wins in these games could have transformed our season.

A win yesterday would have seen us sititng in sixth and putting pressure on Aberdeen and Dundee Utd, now we are still in 7th behind Hibs on goal difference.

The game itself was uninspiring with Sheridan having a decent chance with a header in the first have, and then late on Clarkson should've done better with a volley that he sent over the bar.

After the game Mark McGhee said, "There was no spark, no continuity, no quality. Scrappy, very frustrating. There's nothing else I can say, other than that it was poor."

This worries me that this is what we have heard after the other three games I mentioend above and surely this is part of his job in preparing the players. Particulalry after taking the players to a hotel in Irvine on Friday night.

No point wingeing too much we still have three big games to play, and we reckoned seven points from the last four would see us in the top six. Therefore all we need to do is beat Aberdeen and St. Mirren at home and we'll be ready for a push for a European place.
