International duty for four

While it may be a quiet week for fans four of our players are involved in International duty this week.

While I am getting a bit bored with no games this week, including Saturday afternoon meaning there is the prospect of a Shopping trip instead of football, four of our players are busy preparing for International games.

At senior level David Clarkson is with Scotland squad ahead of the World Cup double header with Holland and Iceland. It is unlikely he will get a lot of game time, which could be a good thing as a week away from Fir Park could be the spark he needs to help us make top six and Europe in the run in.

Stephen Craigan continues his run with Northern Ireland as they look ahead to two home ties with Poland and Slovenia. Craggs will take his cap tally to 39 if he features in both games.

Meanwhile we also have two guys away on Under 21 duty with Jamie Murphy in the Scotland squad who have two games with Albania coming up this week. While Cillian Sheridan is away with the Reuplic of Ireland who play Spain on Friday in a friendly.

While it is always good to see our guys going away there is always the worry they will pick up an injury that could keep them out for a few weeks!
