Six first half goals blew away the challenge of Albanian side Flumatari as Well progress to take on Steau Bucharest in the next round.

It was a nervy opening few minutes before Motherwell took the lead in 16 minutes when Jamie Murphy scored her first from close range following a Slane corner. Murphy scored the second in similar circumstances only minutes later before Slane himself scored from long range to make it three.

Ross Forbes made it four from the penalty spot before Murphy sealed his hat trick on 34 minutes and it six before the break when Shaun Hutchinson swept home from 15 yards out.

Forbes scored a stunning seventh from 20 yards five minutes after the re-start before Flumatri pulled one back when sub Roshi capitalised on slack defending.

Young sub Rob McHugh capitalised on a goalkeeping error to round off the night and make it eight.

This was a great night for the youngsters with Manager Jim Gannon putting his faith in them and being rewarded with a fine attacking performance the like of which we haven't seen for a long long time.
