Keeper signs up
Darren Randolph

Motherwell have added their third player of the summer as they sign up keeper Darren Randolph from Charlton Athletic.
The 23 year old has spent five years at the Valley and has had loan spells at Accrington, Gillingham, Bury and Hereford before making 13 appearances in Division 1 last season.
He has been capped at various levels for the Republic of Ireland all the way up to Under 21.
He comes to Fir Park from the recommendation of one of Craig Brown's proteges Christian Dailly who has spent time with Randolph at the Valley. Let's hope his recommendations are better than his form on the field in recent years!
It would appear that this move has been made with John Ruddy no longer an option with the popular big keeper being linked with a move to newly promoted Norwich City for their assault on the Championship this season.
The move also ends the Motherwell career of Michael Fraser, as it is unlikely we will carry three keepers next season and Brown and Knox have signed the other two!
Fraser's situation was always a strange one, signed on a pre-contract by Mark McGhee who had left by the time the Highlander arrived. He was immediately dropped by Jim Gannon after his first couple of games, and never picked by Brown when Gannon left!
Let's hope Randolph can come close to matching the form of John Ruddy last season!
Brown now only has to fine a goal scorer and we will be in reasonable shape for the new season.
