A chance to progress after today's draw

Motherwell were today handed a home draw against Dundee Utd in the Quarter Finals of the League Cup.

Motherwell were today paired with Dundee United at home in hte CIS Cup Quarter Final draw made at Hampden this afternoon.

This must give Motherwell as good a chance to make the semis as they could have asked for, with Motherwell looking as though they are capable of meeting anyone this season. Equally I suppose there is also the likelihood we could lost to anyone at the same time!

The last time these two met in the League Cup was back in 1999, interestingly at the same stage. United ran out 3-2 winners with Derek Townsley and Shaun Teale scoring for Well.

Motherwell will be looking to make the semi finals for the first time since losing to Celtic back in 2006, only a year after our last final appearance.

Aberdeen v Falkirk
St Johnstone v Celtic
Motherwell v Dundee United
Kilmarnock v Rangers
