All the Newcastle United team news ahead of the first game of the season for the Magpies in the Intertoto Cup.

The game kicks off at 5pm BST against Lillestrom as Newcastle look to qualify for the UEFA Cup.

Ameobi has managed to recover from a hip problem, which is a relief to Toon fans as he is the only recognised striker, with Shearer retired and Owen out for months.

Boumsong has been given a 2 week break and Craig Moore is not expected back in training until Monday.

Kieron Dyer is still out, with hamstring and back problems this time.
