Newcastle United go into this tie with a 1-1 draw; Lillestrom getting an away goal at St. James Park. Pressure mounts on the Magpies as they are expected to get through, but will face a tough test in Norway.

Craig Moore is back after his extended leave due to the world cup, but Taylor and Bramble are expected to occupy the centre-back spots.

Ameobi has recovered from a hip injury as Newcastle's lack of strikers continues. The Englishman had missed training and came on as a sub in the 1-1 draw of the first leg.

He is expected to partner either James Milner, or Albert Luque in attack, niether of which are natural strikers.
