Newcastle United take on Portsmouth at lunch-time on Sunday and will be looking to carry their European form into the Premiership.

Dyer, Martins and Captain Scott Parker will all return to the first XI after being rested.

Rossi is again eligible but Carr could be rested until he is fully fit from his foot injury, whilst Damien Duff is out with a knee injury.

O’Neil and Mwaruwari will both return for Portsmouth and Stefanovic is expected to play with his injury.

However, Matt Taylor and former Newcastle striker Andy Cole will not feature.
