Aston Villa are tonight the visitors to St. James' Park as both teams aim to take maximum points from this 8pm kick off.

Newcastle's injury woes are slowly lowering as Damien Duff and Titus Bramble return to the squad after large periods of time on the sidelines.

Norberto Solano is banned, and Oguchi Onyewu, the newly signed 22-year-old American from Standard Liège, has no place in the squad yet.

Steven Taylor returns from suspension after his red card against Birmingham.

Jlloyd Samuel (knee) will not feature for Villa, but Pertrov (hamstring) will return, and new signings John Carew and Ashley Young will both be in the squad.
