Ramage to Return

Newcastle United defender Peter Ramage is looking to make a first team return after 2 months out injured.

The youngster picked up a hamstring injury earlier in 2007 which has ruled him out until he played 70 minutes for the reserves against Liverpool.

Ramage is now looking to re-establish his place in the first team.

Ramage said:

"I want to be involved in as many games right to the end of the season as I can.

"We'll sit down tomorrow and assess the situation. I'm a bit tired now but that's to be expected.

"I'm not a good watcher at the best of times. I've just been wanting to get out there. I've got 70 minutes under my belt now and hopefully I can stake a claim for the first team."
