He started off well but started to look worse and worse.

I find it odd how we have a relatively small squad and are getting rid of players

very worrying for me.

Perhaps it could give a few of the acadamy players a chance. I would love to see Troisi or LuaLua in the starting XI. Perhaps even some of these kids we hae signed for our reserves that are all about 17.

Getting rid of a defender won't give Troisi or LuaLua any extra mins on the pitch.

I don't think this deal makes sense unless we're getting a replacement in or giving Kadar/Tozer a defensive chance.

Neither Kadar nor Tozer are ready. You think Roz looked bad in the PL? Those kids would be eaten alive and would have their confidence destroyed.

This is a foolish move, considering the size of the squad. Untenable, in fact. Even with Faye, we only have three CBs, and Cacapa is useless half the time-and old enough to be an injury waiting to happen, anyway. This is ridiculous. Who the hell is at the wheel for this club?

Exactly, that's why this deal makes no sense.

We have enough cover at the back in Feye, Cacapa & Taylor - and serveral fringe players. Hopefully Lazio and Euro 2008 will build up his confidence, Big Sam droppped him for sneezing several times.

please cacapa is rubbish i was hoping he would go. Admit it our defence is the weakest in the league, only Taylor in the back four is worthy of wearing the shirt

I'm interested to know who these 'several fringe players' who can play CB are.

Ramage is out for the season. Beye, it is claimed, can play at CB but haven't we had enough of players out of position? Kadar and Tozer are far too green. We have 3 CB, end of. Prediction: Nicky Butt lines up at CB for the Toon before the end of the season. Mark my words.

Oh, and detox-Roz is going to Lazio permanently. Just couldn't agree a fee before the end of the window. Probably because the Toon wouldn't approve the move at all until they knew Faye was on the way back.

Unfortunately I completely agree Tunyc - and its a very dismal prospect

i cant belive he has gone hasnt replaced him. The board are a @#$%& joke. So what happens if one or two ofthem get injured? We are @#$%& up arent we. Serves them right @#$%& the lot of them

Rozehnal was unhappy at the lack of regular football so we had to let him go. It's not ideal with only three, but it could be alot worse, remember bramble?

Why "detox-Roz?" I hadn't heard about problems with him.

Rozehnal had been in the news earlier in the day, when quotes attributed to him appeared in a Czech paper:

Given his disappointment i think the loan is a good thing. Three decent centre halfs is better than most teams have.

We don't have three decent center halves. We have one good one (Faye), one who is still developing (Taylor) and one who is rubbish half the time (Cacapa). This squad better figure out a way to score, and quickly.

Let's face it-Keegan is already being undermined. He says he's not selling anyone and then within 24 hours we've shipped off Rozehnal. KK didn't make that decision, I assure you. I'm starting to feel very nervous about the new set-up.
